W. Patrick Kollmyer
PT, DPT, OCS

Patrick is a Southern California native who moved to Colorado in Jan. 2011 to escape the LA gridlock traffic. He attended UCLA as an undergraduate and was a swimmer and captain of the ski team. He then attended Mount Saint Mary’s College in Los Angeles for his doctorate in physical therapy (DPT). While in PT school he also lectured on anatomy, physiology, orthopedics and cardiology in the MSMC undergraduate, nursing and PT programs.

After receiving his doctorate he completed the Healthcare Partners / Southern California Kaiser advance orthopedic residency program, which allowed him to sit for his Orthopedic Certified Specialist exam, which he passed in June of 2011 making him an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS). Patrick’s treatment style is based on correcting faulty movement patterns that lead to dysfunction and pain; he uses exercise and manual therapy to help patients achieve independence in optimal movement.

Although he thought he’d miss the beaches and surfing of Southern California he loves the outdoor lifestyle of Colorado, which is not hampered by gridlock traffic. Outside of the clinic Patrick is active with yoga, skiing, cycling, swimming, hiking (basically anything outside) and exploring Colorado.
