Jeremy Schmidt PT, DPT
Jeremy is a native of Olathe, Kansas and the overly humid Midwest. Jeremy and his wife, Beth, transplanted to Colorado in 2006 from Kansas City, Missouri to attend graduate school at Regis University. Growing up in Kansas City as an avid Nebraska Cornhusker fan and a Kansas City Chiefs fan, he now resides in the dangerous Bronco and Buff lands of Colorado. Since coming to Colorado, Jeremy has found a love for the many outdoor activities the state has to offer. After volunteering at the Courage Classic bicycle ride to benefit The Children’s Hospital, Jeremy decided to purchase a road bike one month prior to the ride the following year. After riding through more than 150 miles of beautiful Colorado scenery, he fell in love with cycling. Additionally, he enjoys hiking, camping, swimming, skiing and rock climbing.
In 2008, Jeremy and Beth welcomed their first daughter into their family. She keeps both Jeremy and Beth very busy but undoubtedly entertained. Jeremy spends much of his free time with his wife and daughter. He also plays the guitar and the djembe (an African hand drum).
Jeremy completed his undergraduate education in 2005 at Truman State University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. Jeremy earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree from Regis University in Denver, CO. During his graduate education, Jeremy had the opportunity to learn from many excellent clinicians in the field of manual physical therapy. Jeremy believes that his degree is only the beginning to a life-long learning process of honing and furthering his physical therapy knowledge and skill. Jeremy also believes that patients are active participants and consumers of their healsthcare and desires to intricately involve patients in the care that they receive.
