Jennifer DesBois DPT
Jennifer is a Colorado native and was born in Loveland, Colorado, although she spent her middle and high school years in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After high school, Jen moved back home to Colorado where she graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science with a concentration in Sports Medicine. She later received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado. Living in Colorado has given Jen a love for the outdoors and a passion for athletics. Jen enjoys hiking, camping, snowboarding, and is a sports fanatic. Jen is an avid runner and has recently started competing in marathons. She also loves to travel. After graduating from the University of Colorado, Jen had the amazing opportunity to spend two months backpacking through Europe with her husband Scott.
Jen has always had a passion for helping people. As a result, physical therapy became the perfect field for her. As a physical therapist, she is fulfilled when she can be involved in educating patients and helping them return to function. Her motivation comes from seeing her patients succeed, return to their normal lives and be able to do the things they love. Professionally, her career as a physical therapist provides her with many challenges and stimulating changes. She enjoys working with orthopedic and sports medicine populations, with particular interest in furthering her clinical expertise in the areas of manual therapy. She wants to serve as a resource in the health care community and obtain an advanced level of knowledge and skill by specializing.
Jen strives to help patients improve their level of performance whether it is athletic, recreational or occupational by providing functional and permanent solutions for their physical impairments and getting them back to the life they enjoy.
