Jamie Bovay
PT, DPT, CSCS

Jamie grew up in a small town in mid Missouri where he grew up enjoying outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, and a multitude of sports. Jamie received his BS in Chemistry from Missouri State University and while working towards his prerequisites for PT school he decided he definitely needed more human interaction and the rewarding feeling that helping others would bring. Jamie had tried several different locations during his internships in PT school to see where he wanted to live and had decided that the combination of weather, outdoor options, and the people who lived here made Colorado the best combination of anywhere he had been. After graduating with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rockhurst University a move to Colorado was a must.

Jamie enjoys seeing a variety of patients from young to not so young and from triathletes to couch potatoes. He received his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification to help give him an edge with athletes and has enjoyed working with all ranges of athletes from grade school to professional athletes. Jamie works with the patient to achieve their goals while trying to get them feel better as soon as possible. As the son of two teachers who taught him in high school Jamie has grown up with constant learning and tries to educate his patients about their conditions so that they can make the best decisions about their care. Currently he is working towards his Manual Therapy Certification from the University of St. Augustine.

Jamie and his wife Sabrina have 2 dogs named Titan and Diesel that need lots of exercise and keep them from lounging around the house…and sleeping past 7 am! Jamie enjoys snowboarding, hiking, fishing, kayaking, basketball, cooking, and traveling.
